Baptism: A Study and Celebration Guide

What is It?

The family is the most important place for your child to learn about faith in Christ. The ministries of the church can help in the process, but it is the parent’s privilege and blessing to play the most important role. God calls parents to “bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4)

Baptism and Communion are milestones for our kids. We all want to be able to say “My child has experienced the outward showing of their maturing inward faith walk.”

This guide includes two sections of study – one for parents, and one for the parents to do with their child in preparation for baptism.

The parent/child sessions include:

• God’s Word
• Answering questions
• Talking together
